Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing with local and federal authorities.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Support external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Monitor budgets and provide forecasting insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Self-motivated individual with a proven track record of remote work success.
