Responsibilities
- Execute the end-of-week and end-of-month financial closing procedures accurately and timely.
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial data integrity.
- Prepare and post journal entries for complex accounting transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Review and approve vendor invoices and expense reports.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
- Maintain strict adherence to GAAP and internal control policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a preference for weekend shift roles.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the weekend shift.
