Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including daily accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements for clients.
- Process payroll and assist with quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) to maintain up-to-date ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred; high school diploma with certification considered.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to clients.
