Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Oversee and manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes with precision.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly and weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and generate accurate financial statements and balance sheets for leadership review.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger system, ensuring all entries are categorized correctly.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and resolve financial issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and staff.
