Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure timely tax filings
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage QuickBooks Online for 15+ client accounts
- Oversee sales tax reporting and remittance processes
- Prepare year-end documentation for CPA review
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Xero
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- California sales tax compliance knowledge
- Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent certification
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
