Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 100% accuracy
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) quarterly
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Professional certification (QB ProAdvisor, CPA) a plus
