Responsibilities
- Core Accounting: Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, financial statements, and monthly variance reports.
- Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and ensuring employee time off is tracked correctly.
- Inventory & Costing: Monitor inventory levels and assist in cost accounting processes.
- Compliance: Stay updated on changing financial regulations and ensure our internal policies are followed.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Tech Stack: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage; Expert level in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail with the ability to spot errors in complex data sets.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members and management.
