Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Process payroll via ADP/Gusto and ensure tax filings are up to date.
- Assist with monthly and annual financial close processes.
- Maintain organized filing systems for all financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience (Bachelor's preferred).
- 2+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members.
