Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, bank reconciliations, and trial balances.
- Daily Pay Access: Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with our same-day pay feature, allowing you to manage your finances on your schedule.
- Client Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements for clients.
- VAT & Compliance: Ensure all VAT returns and statutory filings are submitted accurately and on time in accordance with HMRC guidelines.
- Bank Reconciliation: Process invoices and receipts, reconciling bank statements to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Support: Provide high-level support to the Finance Director regarding budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role.
- Qualifications: AAT Level 2/3/4 or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional numerical accuracy and organizational skills.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data simply.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
