Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Manage daily accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure financial statements are precise.
- Payroll Processing: Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for employees with guaranteed daily pay access.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements for management review.
- Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor company expenses and identify areas for cost reduction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Expert level proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain high data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and vendors.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
