Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions within 24-hour turnaround
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports for client review
- Prepare sales tax filings and support audit processes with organized documentation
- Implement digital bookkeeping solutions using QuickBooks Online/Xero platforms
- Provide real-time financial insights to support client decision-making
- Coordinate with tax professionals for quarterly/year-end reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero
- Proven track record of meeting daily deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot table and formula expertise
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and California tax regulations
- Exceptional communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) preferred
