Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare financial statements and reconciliations
- Process payroll and tax filings accurately
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks and Xero for transaction management
- Provide financial insights to clients during consultations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid Oregon driver's license for client visits
- Background check clearance required
