Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with tax department for quarterly filings and year-end reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records using Oracle ERP system
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep understanding of NY/NJ tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
