Responsibilities
- Process and issue invoices accurately and promptly using our billing software to ensure timely revenue recognition.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and initiate follow-up actions with clients to secure payments.
- Reconcile monthly billing statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors efficiently.
- Prepare and analyze monthly billing reports to identify trends and support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable and customer service teams to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
- Update client billing information in the CRM and financial databases as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and revenue recognition standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and number crunching.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
