In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end billing process, from invoicing to collections, while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Process and post invoices accurately and efficiently within established timeframes.
- Manage accounts receivable, including sending statements and following up on overdue payments.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client inquiries regarding charges or invoices.
- Generate and maintain detailed billing reports for management review.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure billing information is current and correct.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial audits as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and billing cycles.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
