Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, payment posting, and account reconciliations
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment inquiries with exceptional communication
- Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and optimize collection strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate charge capture and coding
- Maintain compliance with billing regulations and company financial policies
- Generate monthly billing reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience required
- Proficiency in billing software (Epic, Meditech, or SAP preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial details
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification preferred
