Responsibilities
- Process complex medical claims and insurance reimbursements with 99.5% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through strategic follow-up with insurers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Analyze aging reports to optimize accounts receivable cycles
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture integrity
- Implement process improvements for billing efficiency
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Proficient in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR systems
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Advanced Excel capabilities with pivot table experience
