Responsibilities
- Process and submit accurate insurance claims to Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payers
- Manage patient billing statements, payment plans, and collections follow-ups
- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous documentation and payer negotiations
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to billing regulations (CPT, ICD-10)
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding and documentation accuracy
- Generate monthly revenue reports and KPI dashboards for leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial insurance claims
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in Epic, Medisoft, or NextGen billing systems
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA, EOB analysis, and denial resolution
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
