- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies through detailed account analysis
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture integrity and documentation compliance
- Generate monthly revenue reports and identify process improvement opportunities
- Train staff on billing system updates and regulatory changes (HIPAA, CMS)
- Manage patient payment plans and communicate account statuses professionally
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EHR billing modules and NextGen practice management
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and commercial insurance protocols
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table and VLOOKUP capabilities
- Proven track record in reducing A/R days by 15%+
