- Conduct monthly audits for compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Train staff on billing system updates (Epic EMR preferred)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Medisoft, NextGen)
- Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication for patient and insurance liaison
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field
