- Process and submit insurance claims for 200+ daily patient encounters
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct payer communication
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Analyze aging reports to accelerate accounts receivable
- Train staff on billing software updates and protocols
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
- Collaborate with coding department for charge accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 codes
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and Medisoft billing systems
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.5% accuracy rate
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex claim denials
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance
