- Reconcile accounts receivable reports and identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate charge documentation
- Comply with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Generate monthly billing performance analytics
- Train staff on billing best practices and system updates
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Advanced proficiency in medical billing software (Epic, NextGen)
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication abilities for patient and insurance liaison
- Experience with RCM cycle optimization
- Knowledge of Ohio Medicaid and Medicare guidelines
