- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy across multiple payers
- Manage accounts receivable through timely follow-up and resolution of denials
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to service delivery
- Conduct thorough audits of billing codes (CPT/ICD-10) for compliance
- Generate monthly revenue reports and analyze billing trends
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain strict HIPAA and regulatory compliance in all processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and insurance claim submission
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and Medisoft billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication for patient and provider interactions
- Ability to manage high-volume deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Oregon Medicaid and BlueCross BlueShield protocols
