Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, payment application, and collections
- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous account reconciliation and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve client billing inquiries and disputes
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with SOX, GAAP, and industry-specific billing regulations
- Generate monthly billing reports and analytics for financial review
- Utilize Salesforce and NetSuite to maintain billing data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of experience in medical or enterprise billing systems
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and billing platforms (e.g., Cerner, Epic)
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with revenue cycle management and AR optimization
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
