Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Generate and distribute invoices accurately and promptly to clients, ensuring all billing terms are met and terms are strictly enforced.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor outstanding accounts, send payment reminders, and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes efficiently.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure general ledger accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for client billing inquiries, providing exceptional service and resolving issues professionally.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports related to accounts receivable and revenue recognition.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline billing workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when reviewing data and processing high-volume transactions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Integrity: High level of professionalism and ethical standards regarding sensitive financial data.
