- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient account inquiries within 24 hours
- Perform monthly reconciliations for EHR and billing system data
- Generate comprehensive revenue cycle reports for executive review
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture completeness
- Stay updated on CMS and Medi-Cal billing regulations
- Train staff on new billing protocols and system updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and billing software
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and billing compliance standards
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume deadlines with zero errors
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
