Responsibilities
- Process and verify medical or commercial invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Manage patient and client accounts receivable, including follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Utilize billing software (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth, or Salesforce) to update and maintain patient records.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate with clients and insurance companies to resolve billing issues.
- Assist in month-end close processes and generate financial reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle, or accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or practice management systems is required.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
