- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries within 24 hours
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports weekly
- Collaborate with collections team on past-due accounts
- Train staff on billing software updates
- Audit claims for coding errors and documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBCS) credentials required
- Expertise in Epic and NextGen billing systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Experience with third-party payer negotiations
- Proven ability to handle high-volume transactions
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
