- Reconcile complex billing statements and resolve payment discrepancies
- Collaborate with sales teams to resolve billing inquiries within 24 hours
- Generate monthly revenue reports and variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PCI, and SOX regulations
- Train junior staff on billing system protocols
- Optimize billing workflows to reduce DSO by 15%
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical/billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EHR billing modules
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong analytical skills for identifying billing trends
- Excellent communication for patient/stakeholder interactions
