- Research and resolve billing denials/adjustments within SLA timelines
- Conduct thorough patient account reconciliations and financial audits
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture integrity
- Generate monthly revenue reports for executive leadership
- Train staff on billing software updates and regulatory changes
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and audit trails
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and payer-specific guidelines
- Advanced proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage high-volume claims with competing deadlines
- Experience with RCM cycle optimization and denial management
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
