- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous account reconciliation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture completeness
- Manage accounts receivable aging and follow-up processes
- Generate monthly billing reports for executive review
- Train staff on billing system updates and compliance changes
- Conduct internal audits to identify process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare finance or related field
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital/clinic setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Epic, Cerner, or NextGen systems
- Deep knowledge of HIPAA and CMS billing regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment
