- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials within SLA timelines
- Perform insurance eligibility verification and pre-authorization coordination
- Generate monthly revenue reports and aging accounts receivable analysis
- Ensure compliance with billing regulations and internal audit standards
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document chargeable services
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and UB-04 forms
- Advanced proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
