Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through insurance carrier communication
- Manage patient account balances and payment plans
- Analyze accounts receivable reports to identify collection opportunities
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture completeness
- Utilize Epic EHR and NextGen billing systems daily
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding guidelines
- Proficient in EHR billing systems and MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
