Responsibilities
- Process and verify insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely reimbursement
- Analyze billing data to identify trends and process improvements
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Train junior staff on billing software protocols
- Generate monthly billing reports for executive review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or insurance billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EHR systems
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with electronic claim submission (EDI)
- Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding standards
