- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy across multiple payers
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through proactive payer communication
- Manage accounts receivable aging reports and collection workflows
- Conduct regular audits of billing codes and documentation compliance
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture integrity
- Utilize Epic EMR and RCM systems for billing operations
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
- Train staff on updated billing regulations and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a multi-specialty clinic
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
- Proven proficiency with claim scrubbers and denial management tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Experience with Epic EMR and RCM platforms
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for payer negotiations
