- Process and reconcile complex medical claims with 99% accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable aging reports and collection strategies
- Resolve billing discrepancies through HIPAA-compliant communication
- Collaborate with insurance providers for payment resolution
- Implement coding updates (CPT/ICD-10) for compliance
- Generate monthly financial reports for leadership review
- Train staff on billing system best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience in NYC healthcare
- Expertise in Epic EMR and Medisoft systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of NY Medicaid/Medicare regulations
- Proficient in Excel and revenue cycle analytics
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
