Responsibilities
- Process and submit accurate insurance claims and patient invoices
- Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues within SLAs
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and Arizona state regulations
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports daily/weekly
- Collaborate with providers to verify coding and documentation
- Generate monthly billing performance reports
- Train staff on billing procedures and updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience required
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Expertise in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and billing software
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume deadlines with accuracy
