- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient account inquiries
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations
- Generate monthly billing reports and financial statements
- Collaborate with clinical teams for charge entry verification
- Manage denial appeals and follow-up processes
- Train staff on billing system updates and protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Proficiency in Epic and NextGen EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table experience
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field
