Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of financial transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to meet and exceed branch targets.
- Open new checking and savings accounts, explaining products and services clearly.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to recommend loans, credit cards, and investment products.
- Assist in maintaining the security and organization of the lobby and teller line.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, compliance policies, and internal audit procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or banking is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills and the ability to perform mental arithmetic quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail-oriented and capable of handling large amounts of cash with integrity.
- Reliable transportation and a clean background check are required.
