Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional, friendly service at the teller line and service desk.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products, such as credit cards, savings accounts, and online banking services.
- Assist with lobby operations, including handling mail, answering phones, and managing customer queues.
- Adhere to all bank policies, security procedures, and regulatory compliance standards (BSA/AML).
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior banking or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to count cash quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with POS systems.
- Must pass a background check, credit check, and drug screen.
