Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments while adhering to strict banking regulations.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and products, and provide a positive, professional banking experience.
- Cross-Selling: Proactively identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products, such as savings accounts, credit cards, or investment services.
- Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with U.S. Bank policies, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) regulations, and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
- Problem Solving: Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate complex matters to the appropriate branch management or relationship manager.
- Operations: Maintain a clean and organized teller line, organize cash drawers, and prepare daily settlement reports.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or financial services is preferred; cash handling experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to count cash quickly and accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Adaptability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
