Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing for customers with a high degree of precision.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional face-to-face service, answering questions regarding account balances, interest rates, and available products.
- Account Management: Open new accounts, assist with account closures, and process account transfers efficiently.
- Cash Balancing: Perform daily cash reconciliation to ensure the vault and drawer balances match transaction records at the end of the shift.
- Product Promotion: Cross-sell our suite of financial products, including credit cards, personal loans, and investment services.
- Compliance: Adhere to all bank security protocols, Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, and anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Bank Teller, Customer Service Representative, or in a cash-handling role is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and proficiency with cash handling and POS systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Technology: Proficient in using Windows-based operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
