Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP and SAP systems
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, NC withholding)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollment with 100% accuracy
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Generate year-end forms (W-2, 1099) and support external audits
- Train new hires on payroll systems and time-tracking protocols
- Collaborate with HR on policy updates and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- ADP Enterprise certification or equivalent system proficiency
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, ACA, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
