Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our financial products and services.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Perform daily cash balancing and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Handle sensitive financial information with the highest level of confidentiality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or banking experience preferred.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail are essential for cash handling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn bank-specific software quickly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Candidate must pass a background check and credit check.
