Responsibilities
- Process transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers) with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve account inquiries
- Balance cash drawers daily and adhere to strict security protocols
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services
- Maintain detailed transaction records and assist with audits
- Support branch operations by assisting with marketing initiatives
- Train junior tellers on procedures and compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of customer service or cash handling experience
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency in banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Basic knowledge of banking regulations (Reg CC, BSA)
