Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival at the branch.
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cashing checks, handling deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all daily transactions and reconcile the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
- Answer incoming phone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate department.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on our products and services.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to help customers optimize their financial accounts.
- Adhere to all bank policies, security protocols, and compliance regulations (BSA/AML).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or cash handling is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
