Responsibilities
- Receive and disburse cash in exchange for goods, services, or funds.
- Verify checks, cash, and checks for accuracy and authenticity.
- Count cash and reconcile transactions to ensure balance.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments efficiently.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and explain banking products.
- Balance the cash drawer and complete end-of-day reports.
- Operate standard office equipment and bank software systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
