Responsibilities
- Execute daily banking transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, ensuring strict adherence to bank security protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues with patience and professionalism.
- Identify and cross-sell financial products and services, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards, to help meet branch sales targets.
- Maintain strict compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines.
- Perform daily cash balancing and reconcile teller drawers to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and welcoming branch environment for all visitors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or banking operations (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn bank-specific software quickly.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and some evening shifts.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash responsibly.
