Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their overall banking experience.
- Open new accounts and explain products and services to potential clients to drive cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain accurate cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding account balances, transaction history, and digital banking services.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols.
- Collaborate with the branch team to ensure daily branch operations run smoothly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or banking preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform basic calculations accurately and quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software.
- Strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
