As a Bank Teller, you will be the first point of contact for our valued clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring every financial transaction is handled with precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing with high accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Cash checks and verify signatures, ensuring strict compliance with all bank security policies and regulations.
- Open new accounts, assist with account closures, and guide customers through our digital banking platforms.
- Monitor and balance the cash drawer daily, identifying and resolving any discrepancies immediately.
- Proactively promote bank products and services to meet sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or banking is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to count cash accurately and handle financial calculations under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, POS systems, and Windows-based software.
